The 2023 Taipei Tech International Conference on Applied Linguistics (APLX 2023) is a biennial conference hosted by Taipei Tech Department of English and has attracted applied linguists from around the world since 2006. This year, we continue this tradition, hoping to attract a greater number of international researchers and encourage productive exchanges and fruitful interactions among participants.

ETRA 40th 第四十屆中華民國英語文教學研究國際研討會

As one of the major academic associations in English language teaching, the English Teaching and Research Association, Taiwan (ETRA) co-hosts an international conference annually. The International Conference on English Teaching and Learning brings together researchers, educators, and professionals from around the world to share their knowledge, research findings, and practical experience in the field. TESPA

TESPA

TESPA (the Taiwan ESP Association), founded in 2008, aims to create a strong network among teachers, lecturers and professionals and promote ESP education in Taiwan. More information about TESPA is available on the TESPA website.

JALTCALL

JALTCALL

JALTCALL is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of JALT (Japan Association for Language Teaching) for educators and researchers who share an interest in digital technology and language learning. JALTCALL holds a major conference every year in June plus workshops at various time, and also publishes refereed journal articles through the JALTCALL Journal. Taipei Tech

Taipei Tech (National Taipei University of Technology) was founded in 1911 and is one of the oldest universities in Taiwan. Taipei Tech's campus is conveniently located in the center of Taipei, at the intersection of two MRT lines (Zhongxiao Xinsheng station). An English campus map is available here. The English department is housed in the General Studies Building.
